🧄 Ingredients:
- 2 blocks instant noodles (Mi Goreng or any fried noodle variety)
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
- 2 cloves garlic – minced
- 1 small onion – sliced
- 1 egg – optional, fried or scrambled
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup carrot – julienned
- 1/4 cup spring onions – chopped
- 1–2 red chilies – sliced (optional for heat)
- Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
- Sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) – 1 tbsp
- Mi Goreng seasoning packet – if using instant noodles
- Salt & pepper – to taste
- Lime wedge & fried shallots – for garnish
🔥 Instructions:
- Boil the noodles until just cooked (al dente). Drain and toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.
- Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add garlic, onion, and chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add cabbage and carrot. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Push veggies to the side, crack in the egg, and scramble until cooked.
- Add noodles, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and seasoning packet (if using). Toss everything together.
- Stir-fry on high heat for 1–2 minutes until noodles are coated and slightly caramelized.
- Finish with spring onions, a squeeze of lime, and garnish with fried shallots.

- Add a spoon of sambal oelek or chili paste for heat.
- Use shrimp, chicken, or tofu for protein.
- Toasted peanuts or crushed cashews add crunch.
