Beans Ki Sabji | Indian Green beans Stir-fry

A simple yet flavorful dish, this Spiced Green Beans and Potato Stir-Fry is perfect as a side dish or a tasty filling. Enjoy it with your favorite bread or as a hearty stuffing!





Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of green beans, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 small potatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start to splutter, add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Stir well to coat the onions with spices.
  3. Add the chopped potatoes and green beans, mixing everything thoroughly.
  4. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes, until the green beans and potatoes are tender.
  5. Once cooked, uncover the lid and cook for an additional few minutes to allow any excess moisture to evaporate, letting the beans and potatoes become slightly crispy and well-fried.
  6. Serve hot with chapati, roti, paratha, or even as a delicious filling for sandwiches.
