1 cup oats
1/2 cup peanut butter (or almond butter) or Ghee (your choice)
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (I use jaggery)
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cups flaxseeds
1/4 cup each chopped nuts- Almond, cashew, pecan, walnuts etc.
1/4 cup dried fruit like raisins or cranberries (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl dry roast together the oats, chia seeds, flaxseeds, and any dried ingredients like chopped nuts.
2. Add in the peanut butter/ honey or jaggery, and vanilla extract. Stir until everything is well combined.
3. If the mixture is too dry, you can add a tablespoon or two of more ghee.
4. Roll the mixture into small balls using your hands.
5. Place the balls on a tray and keep it to cool for about 30 minutes to firm up.
